The biscuit made for the drink.

The Drinks Bakery began with a memory of Europe. In 1976, founder Andy Murray travelled across the continent with his family in a campervan, discovering a simple ritual along the way: wherever a good drink was poured, something thoughtful was served beside it. Years later, as wine, whisky, beer and cocktails became increasingly sophisticated, Andy wondered why the snacks accompanying them had been left behind.

That question became The Drinks Bakery — award-winning savoury biscuits created not merely to snack on, but carefully flavour-profiled to complement what is in your glass. Hand-baked in the Highlands of Scotland with natural ingredients, they bring the European aperitivo tradition to the modern drinks table. The brand later appeared on BBC's Dragons' Den, securing investment from Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones.

Green Olive & Parsley Drinks Twists

Buttery, crisp pastry twists carry the briny savour of green olive and the clean herbal note of parsley — an effortless nod to the bowls of olives and savoury bites that define Mediterranean aperitivo.

Pair it with: a classic Martini, Aperol Spritz, vodka highball, Albariño, Sicilian white wine, rosé or fino sherry. The olive character makes this an especially natural companion to a cold Martini.

Lello note: Put these beside a properly chilled drink and cocktail hour is essentially finished. Simple, elegant and made for sharing.
